“ In December, 2015, I had a complete shoulder replacement, for my left shoulder. I was treated very well by all the nurses, aides, and staff members.
My doctor was very encouraging and highly skilled in his profession. My incision is barely noticeable, and it has been a good year since the surgery. Although, the medical plan I had didn't provide me with the proper therapy I needed, I had to continue my therapy at home, which is taking longer for me to heal properly. I shall not give up and will continue to work at becoming more physically fit in the future. I will strive for perfection and hope to deliver a positive feedback in my total recovery. “I am so glad to share with you my experience with you, actually both experiences. My first was a complete R. shoulder replacement. I must confess I was uncertain about having this done , no matter the discomfort I was having. I listened to Dr. Flint and was amazed at his apparent skills and concern with my problem. Well the surgery went as expected and then came the therapy. First let me say that I am totally happy and amazed at the results, I have found no limitations and other than an occasional click or catch my shoulder works as good now as when I was a young man, I just don't work it as hard as when I was Superman. Thanks so much for all the care by your staff and hospital staff. Yes I would have the same surgery done again if needed. Now on to the therapy, I really wish my experience with the therapy clinic in Kingman was all that I experienced in Flagstaff Bone and Joint. I'm going to leave it at that because just the remembering of it brings up issues. The second was my L Shoulder clean-up surgery. It did get rid of the ring of fire about the size of a baseball at the top outer curved portion of my arm, however I have had so much ongoing pain about 2 1/2 inches down from the crown or curved portion, at times the pain is def. a 10+ and still continues to this day, over two years later. I would never recommend this procedure to any one, sorry about that. Guess I had such a good time with the first that I was expecting as good with the second.
