Flagstaff Bone & Joint to Welcome Fellowship-Trained Sports Medicine & Spine Doctor Nathan A. Swain, D.O.

Fellowship-trained, board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist Dr. Nathan Swain is joining the team at Flagstaff Bone & Joint, the region’s most preferred orthopaedic practice. Starting Aug. 18, Dr. Swain will be available to see patients in the NorthStar Medical Offices at 77 W. Forest Ave., Suite 301, and in Kingman at 2331 Hualapai Mountain Road, Suite A. As an advanced, experienced physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist, Dr. Swain offers comprehensive, conservative care for a range of acute and chronic injuries and conditions. His expertise includes nonoperative treatment for:

  • Back and neck pain.
  • Pain of muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, bones and associated nerves.
  • Sports-related concussions.

Dr. Swain earned his medical degree in osteopathic medicine at the Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California. He went on to complete a traditional osteopathic rotating internship at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, Oregon, and his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California. Dr. Swain then refined his education through a year-long sport and spine fellowship at EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, Washington.
